Guidance for People with a Conviction
Disclosure Scotland has produced guidance that summarises key information to help people with convictions to make more positive applications for employment, education and volunteering. It includes information on how convictions will be treated on a disclosure certificate, what information an individual needs to declare to an employer and what they don’t, and includes advice on how to best explain the context to a conviction.
