Transfer of current Premises Licence Holder to new person / company
Where a premises is to be operated or taken over by another person or company, the current licence holder or new licence holder must apply for the Premises Licence to be transferred.
A transfer application must be submitted within 28 days of the occurrence of the event e.g. business transferred, company dissolved, licence holder deceased, company insolvent.
A new licence holder may require to change the manager of the existing premises at the same time. In these circumstances the application will include a variation to the existing premises licence.
